Charles Cotugno grew up in the Boston area and has a diverse background in the arts. He first took an interest in photography at the age of seven when his father began teaching him the basics of the darkroom.  Since then a camera has been a near constant companion. In the following years he’s had careers in alternative music as a bassist, writer, arranger, and producer as well as an actor, director, and playwright.  In addition, Mr. Cotugno has worked in the broadcast, broadband, and cellular industries. Over his career he has lived in New York City, London, Los Angeles, and the Seattle area. In 1999 he founded Mosaic Image Photography, a successful fine art portrait business that also served school, team, and event clients. In January of 2006 he founded Charles Cotugno Photography to focus specifically on fine art portrait photography. Mosaic Image Photography remains as one of the best school, team, and event photography companies in the Pacific Northwest.
